A) Apps fail to register properly
Apps won't open due to Adobe account issues, such as error 205 when attempting to start a Creative Cloud application:
- Sign out and sign back into the Adobe app.
If the issue persists:
- Open accRemover.
- Run step 1 "Removal of Adobe Credentials" only.
- Sign in to the Adobe app.
If the problem continues:
- Open accRemover.
- Run step 1 "Removal of Adobe Credentials" again.
- Run step 2 "Removal of Adobe Preferences".
- Restart your system.
- Sign in to the Adobe app.
B) Apps crash on startup
Apps crash immediately after launch, typically due to corrupted preferences:
- Open accRemover.
- Run step 2 "Removal of Adobe Preferences" only.
If the issue persists:
- Open accRemover.
- Run step 2 "Removal of Adobe Preferences" again.
- Run step 3 "Removal of Adobe Applications".
- Restart your system.
- Reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud and all apps.
C) Reset all apps to default settings
All apps should be restored to their default configuration:
- Open accRemover.
- Run step 2 "Removal of Adobe Preferences" only.
D) Completely remove all Adobe software
You want to remove all Adobe software - either to perform a clean reinstall of Adobe Creative Cloud and its apps, or for other reasons:
- Open accRemover.
- Run step 1 "Removal of Adobe Credentials".
- Run step 2 "Removal of Adobe Preferences".
- Run step 3 "Removal of Adobe Applications".
- Restart your system.
- (Optional) Reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud and all apps.
E) Free up storage space urgently
You need to temporarily free up disk space. Removing only Adobe application files can reclaim up to 90 GB (and even more if you also have older or beta versions installed), while preserving settings and login credentials:
- Open accRemover.
- Run step 3 "Removal of Adobe Applications" only.
- Restart your system.
- (Optional) Reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud and all apps.
